Telemedicine Application

Pun Hlaing

Pun Hlaing Siloam Hospital, a part of Yoma Group, is one of the largest hospitals in Yangon and also the only hospital in Myanmar to be accredited by the Joint Commission International for quality and patient safety.

nexlabs was tasked with creating an application for Pun Hlaing Siloam Hospital introducing the fairly new concept of telemedicine locally, with an initial Phase 1 development plan to be used and tested internally by all YOMA employees.

Currently Pun Hlaing uses an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system to kept all digital medical records, which nexlabs will use to further digitally transform the hospital’s services.

The app will allow patients to make appointments, consult with doctors via chat/video, view doctor notes and history, order prescriptions, view their credit balance (since it’s available for all internal employees), 24/7 chat with professionals, and receive notifications. All of which can be carried out from the comfort of the patient’s home.

Furthermore, the app will also have 3 more sub-systems such as a doctors’ web portal for doctors to use and interact with patients, corporate web portal for companies to manage their employees within this app, and an admin web portal for Pun Hlaing to manage their corporate users, patients, appointments, etc.
